Hebrews 10:24-25

GCT as summer gets started, I know that many of you will be traveling and enjoying some increased freedom throughout the summer.  So, as you may be traveling or just continuing with the daily grind I want to take this opportunity to encourage us as a body of Christ with Scripture and prayer two to three times each week (or more).

I am refusing to call this a blog because I am not the blogging type.  However, I want to use this blogging platform for the purpose of GCT not neglecting each other as the body of Christ while being encouraged and as a reminder for us to encourage one another all the more as we see the day drawing near.

So, our first scripture and prayer is Hebrews 10:24-25, And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

I pray now, Lord will you lead us as GCT to consider daily how we can individually stir up one another to love and good works.  Lord, show us who in our lives right now is in need of stirring up in love and in need of my good works toward them.  Show me Lord what the "all the more" may look like in my life, my family, GCT, my community and my world.  Father, thank you for stirring me up daily with your Holy Spirit giving me an assurance of your love through Jesus Christ.  Let us be sensitive to the daily drawing near of that Day that your Son will return.  In Jesus name, Amen.
